- A black frame decorated with abstract forms in which the values “1” are presented. Multicolour printing known as “rainbow printing”. Each banknote has a seven-digit serial number with a 2- or 3-letter prefix. The number on the left is printed in red and the number on the right is printed in blue. On the left is an illustration of the “Coat of Arms of Canada” and on the right is a portrait of Elizabeth II, Queen of England and the Commonwealth.
- Reverse Description
- In the middle, Parliament Hill and the city of Ottawa as seen from the Ottawa River with tug boat Missinaibi in the middle of a broken log boom in a tree logging scene in the foreground. To the right and left are abstract forms in which the values “1”, “ONE” and “UN” are shown.
